OK, so here they are ...pics of the new house. I have to give this little disclaimer though....I am not finished decorating, glazing, landscaping, etc....If I waited to be finished before posting pictures---it could be years SO, without further adeiu....

Driveway and concrete stamping and staining was done by Gallery Concrete...The company my brother owns and often single-handedly operates (in Utah, all you Utah folks)

We've started some landscaping, but it's going very slow due to the GINORMOUS BOULDERS we've had to dig up every stinking time we try to dig a hole to plant something....

Well, that's enough for now...I'll post the kids' rooms when they're done.
I've always wanted to design my own house, it was lots of fun...of course there were the typical construction issues...some of which we are still dealing with, but now that we're in, we can enjoy it!

wii not-so-fit

So, we got a wii fit.

It's a fun little thing....that is, until you do your body test...then it's not that great.
You stand on the little foot stool thingie, and it asks your height, and age. it then weighs you and tells you your BMI and whether you're fit or fat
Now, I know I'm a li'l chunky in spots, but I don't need a stupid game telling me I am. Not only telling me, but showing me...or should I say, mii.
Yep, when it's all done testing you, it shows you your mii character and plumps them right up on the big screen so you can see just how fat you are.




Imagine the character above with black hair and a red shirt and the name "the queen", and you'd have yourself a visual of my mii...I mean me.

Depressing. But I have to say, the games are rather fun, and I got first place on the warrior pose on the Yoga part...not so much on the tree pose, in fact i timbered right off the step and about killed myself.....I'll keep working on it. :)

Hey Mom!...I like Dad better!

So, the other day we're just cruisin' along in my FJ, when Wyatt let his true feelings out...

Wyatt: Hey mom?

Me: Yes Wyatt?

W: I like how dad drives better than you.

Me: What?!?! Why?!?!

W: Because you go too fast.

Me: No I don't

W: yes you do

Me: No I don't

W: yes you do

Me: Nu-uh, If I drive too fast how come daddy is always the one who gets the speeding tickets?
Right then I passed an on coming policeman on a motorcycle.
He flips his lights on.
My heart stops.
I slam on the brakes.
Wyatt yells "Hey!!"
I look in my rear view mirror and to my utter and complete relief, he pulls someone else over.
Whew! My lucky day!!
We then resume our conversation.

Me: See? If I was driving too fast, that policeman would have given me a ticket, but he didn't.

Wyatt: I still like it better when daddy drives.

Me: (fake crying) Oh Wyatt!! You broke my heart!!!

W: Mom, you're just fake crying again.

Me: (Turning up the fake cry)

W: Ok, Ok,...I like your driving....now is your heart back together?

It's wondering if anyone is ever going to buy my house.

It's wondering how in the h@#*! did I go $14,ooo.oo OVER on my flooring budget?
I'm going to try that again. Back to square one.

It's thinking...I need some advil.
