"Mystery in Moonlight"

This past week Chase had his debut in the Mills Elementary choir musical, "Mystery in Moonlight"
Here's the handsome li'l business dude now...

His role was vital.
He and his friend Grahm played extremely important business men rushing through an airport only to have the dogs(?) in their suitcases start barking from within and trying to get at each other....no, it doesn't make sense to me either...but it was a great comic relief during a very intense scene where the detectives of the world are on a mad search for the missing Energizer Bunny.

They had one of the largest choirs in the history of Mills Elementary. Their teacher Debbie Tannert is one of the best in the state of Texas!! She always does an amazing job!!--especially with 100 fourth graders!
choir number--they did an excellent job!

Secret Service agent Chase reporting...come in Red Eagle...
He was quite excited to have a Bluetooth as part of his costume. All the kids were calling him James Bond...
...which he loved and ate up while entertaining the masses :)

Bond...James. Bond.

I love this picture! Everyone is facing their director---he's facing me...love that boy!

I love this too....Wyatt was so excited about his brother's role --being obsessed with being just like his big bro.--that he dressed up "just like Chase"

...and decided Chase needed an escort- by his number one fan- into the school for the nightime performance

Here he is sporting an Inspector Clouseau-ish moustache...very smart.

A job well done!!
You can contact his agent for future roles and public appearances!

Lance has worked at Intel for 15 years now. He loves it --most of the time!:)
Anywhoo, I wish I could better describe the award he and his group were given, but I don't speak nerd very well, so we'll just have to leave it as "a major award"

...No, it wasn't a leg lamp--darn it--. but we got to have a nice evening out and dinner with the Intel Big Whigs, who flew in for the occasion, at this place:

It was a great dinner, with my great hubby--congrats sweetie! Thanks for all of your hard work!! You are amazing!!!

Lauren's Orchestra concert "A Night at the Movies"

So, Lauren had her final Orchestra concert last night. It was a dinner and "Night at the Movies" Where they showed clips from movies up on a big screen while they played the title songs from that movie...great idea right? Right...except for when you combine with two other schools and it lasts for over 3 hours and you've got three little boys with you.....That aside, Lauren did a great job as usual!!
Look Ma! No braces!!!
Sporting her beautiful new white shiny smile!

She's a very serious cellist

VERY SERIOUS.

She gets that from me

and what were the boys doing during all of this?

Finally.

Madi got bling!

Here we go again...Lauren got her braces off a couple of weeks ago, and Madi just got hers on yesterday!!
Before
looking a little nervous....

After
Although about two hours after this picture was taken, she wasn't smiling anymore....ouch!

Two down....three to go!

OK, so here they are ...pics of the new house. I have to give this little disclaimer though....I am not finished decorating, glazing, landscaping, etc....If I waited to be finished before posting pictures---it could be years SO, without further adeiu....

Welcome to our new house!

Driveway and concrete stamping and staining was done by Gallery Concrete...The company my brother owns and often single-handedly operates (in Utah, all you Utah folks)

closer pic. of the stained and stamped walkway he did for us!---beauty, eh?...and Yes, I'm going to put a fountain or big pot or something in the middle of the circle...not done yet remember? :)

More of my bro's handiwork.
Four car garage and the cars are STILL on the driveway.....

We've started some landscaping, but it's going very slow due to the GINORMOUS BOULDERS we've had to dig up every stinking time we try to dig a hole to plant something....

see the big ol' flat stones under the hose bib?...we dug those up...and four other piles of them just like that one....

I've always wanted to design my own house, it was lots of fun...of course there were the typical construction issues...some of which we are still dealing with, but now that we're in, we can enjoy it!
