We're Not Alone

SO.
As I mentioned before, we stopped off in Roswell on our way to Colorado Springs.
How did we know we were in the right place?

The nice British lady on the GPS said so....oh, and we saw this out our car windows:

Even the streetlights and McDonald's were in on it..

We decided to start wasting our time...I mean, educating ourselves at the UFO museum....

They had super convincing and realistic displays

This was my favorite....I am afraid I may have offended the "believers" when I laughed out loud after reading this....
It claims these are "Alien Implants" found up a child's nose.
Sorry to burst your bubble Alien-Doctor-man-guy, but DUDE....those are BBs...fom a BB gun...and there are about half a million boys in the U.S. that have "implanted" those babies up their nose...others just stick peas and beans up there...ears are fun things to stick things into as well...

In case you are a new-to-the-area Alien, here's instructions on how to install implants yourself....or you can just ask any 4 year old boy...

I rest my case.
'nuff said.

At least they have good taste in beverages.

Next, Lance "abducted" us to a place called "Area 51".
Another good use of our time....

They had a glow-y, to-scale model of the alien's home planet....no wait, that's Vegas...

"You wanna phone home buddy?...OK, what's your number...area code first"

"Can you wrap it up?...This is long-distance"

Lance made fast friends with a guy we called Alan.

They tore around on Alan's motorcycle...

They really turned the town upside down...

So did Alan's friends...

Chase and Bob waiting for their turn for a brain transplant

"You're going to feel a little pinch....or intense burning that makes you wish you were dead..."

This guy seemed nice when I met him...

But I think he slipped something into my drink...

I got him back.

Conor and Chase hijacked Alan's aircraft.

...boy did HE feel stupid...

Madi was being sweet-talked by this little creep,...hard to tear her away from that handsome guy..
Lauren had a staring contest with Larry....he lost

Chase was a little concerned about Larry after his staring contest with Lauren...he looked awfully glassy-eyed...

Quite the Alien adventure...and that place wasn't disgustingly dirty, germy or stinky and old at all by-the-way.

On our way out of Roswell we hit this storm

The kids were getting pretty freaked out, so I told them, "Don't worry...it's just the Alien Mother ship looking for more human specimens to abduct...you don't have to worry unless you see freaky lightning..."

"Oh..Well...they also use radar, so be completely silent from here until we reach Colorado Springs and we will be able to pass undetected..."

That was the nicest, quietest 8 hour drive we've ever had!

You're hilarious! I tried the quiet game in the car the other day. They actually tried to win! It was awesome. As kids, my sister and I would wait until my mom said go, then yell "I LOST!!!"

You crack me up :) It looks like a really cool place, I'm glad you guys got to go...I'll have to try the alien abduction trick on Adam and see if it silences him in the car lol
