We've picked out all of the flooring, cabinets and most of the indoor paint colors...should be done around the first of March!...now, if someone would just buy the one we're living in. :)

Secret Love

So our 7 yr old Conor comes home from school and Steph asks him about his day:

Steph: How was school today?

Conor: Fine, except kids kept chasing me and Anna-Kate all over the playground and wouldn't leave us alone. All because they wanted me to answer one question..."do I love Anna-Kate"

Steph: Then what happened?

Conor: We decided to keep our love a secret...at least until we get married.

Did you read that Conor is 7?!? SEVEN?!? I take no responsibility. Steph tried explaining that we love all our friends but we don't hug and kiss until we're 27 yrs old.

Actually, I can't help but think that Conor has become corrupted by Steph and all the girls talking non-stop about Twilight.

CMAs!!!

OK...Lance has been on me for weeks to get these posted...I am SO behind...but here it is!!! Me and my sister's trip to Nashville to see the CMAs!!! I'll probably have to do it in segments because I have a bagillion pictures!!

Here's me and the gal who made the whole trip possible--My sister, Carey!!!


The first night there in Nashville, they had concerts going on outside of the Somet Center where the awards show would be held the following night.

Later we went to the original Grand Ole Oprey at the Ryman auditorium where we saw...

Lorrie Morgan...who I've always liked, but she seriously needs some counseling and a happy pill cuz all of her songs were seriously depressing and disturbing....

We also saw this guy, whose name escapes me at this moment...but he sings,"Love you!...love this town...love this ever livin' truck that keeps breakin' lovin down....." :)

And we saw several other artists...whose names also escape me...except Eli Young Band...I remember those guys :)



The next night was the CMAs!!!

...and here we are standing out by the red carpet where the limos/Chevy suburbans were dropping the stars off...it was cold ...and raining....it totally messed up my hair...
The cars would pull up here, then the peoples would be let out by these Military dudes (they thought that they were so cool...)

Here's Trace Adkins...but you can't tell because they have that big freaking light pointed right at the audience which made it almost impossible to take pictures...I think they did that on purpose..
